About D'AMUN

D'AMUN is an interactive educational event that connects students from multiple schools and committees through the D'Amicis Institute's Model United Nations. Our participants collaboratively research and propose solutions to global issues.

MISSION

To foster awareness and understanding of current global issues by providing a plataform where students engage in a diplomatic matter learning the role of the United Nations. D'AMUN encourages students to seek common ground, respect diverse perspectives, and work towards innovative and collaborative solutions to international problems, thus, acting in favor of the academic development of upcoming generations.

VISION

Our Values

Integrity

The honesty and truthfulness of your actions have an impact in the teamwork. D'AMUN requires transparency, taking responsibility for your actions and doing what you say you would. As an open community, integrity should always be part of your person, to tackle challenges efficiently.

Respect

Show the regard for others' abilities and worth, valuing their feelings and views. It is normal for people to have discrepancies, consider those differences and be open to change diplomatically.

Solidarity

Being united with a purpose or goal behind, an agreement of action with a common interest and constant mututal support within the secretariat, chairs and delegates. Striving to be helpful in the community.

The firm belief in the ability and strenght of those that surround you, counting them as a part of your job and exploiting the capabilities of the community.
